Etangs du Nenuphar is a 3 lake complex set in 50 acres of secure grounds in the Picardie region of northern France. Easy to find, and only 2.5hours drive from Calais the complex is situated near to Laon, and is only 20-30 minutes from junction 13 of the A26, between the small towns of Pinon and Anizy Le Chateau. The lakes were dug and stocked around 70 years ago, but never fished until 2004 as the property was only used for hunting prior to this. The 9 acre "Estate Lake" was first to open in 2004 after 2 years of careful reshaping and landscaping to produce the ideal environment for carp and carp anglers alike. Though it already held around 100 original carp The Estate Lake has also been carefully re-stocked and now holds around 300 carp to over 50lbs, and the odd few over 60lb, as well as a few catfish to 70lbs+.

  In short, if you fancy a trip to a wilderness venue, where you need to row your bait out 200yd plus, whilst bivvying up in a hostile environment, trying to protect the ton of food you had to bring because the nearest shop is 100 miles away please don’t contact us.
