Local legend suggests that a previous owner died here at the wheel of his tractor which can still be seen on the small island in the bay. The manner of his death is unknown, but locals say he can still be heard "wailing" at night. A sound described by one angler brave enough to fish here as "like a delkim with a dodgy battery". Here you can fish from a wooden jetty into a gravely bay at the back of Tractor Island, as well as out to the Grenade Island to your right. Along with swims 3a and 13 this area offers a unique chance for 4 anglers to fish in close proximity. Those who enjoy a good social shouldn't be put off by ghosts and legends.
